ORDINATION: Rev. Barry White from Rathkenny will be ordained for our Diocese in the Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar on Sunday 17th July at 3 pm.   Priesthood is a gift from God that brings us to God. It is a call less ordinary and beautiful.  It is a ministry that goes out from the altar of the Lord’s Presence to those sick at home or in hospital, to the young in search of meaning and to those seeking hope. Without the Priesthood,  we cannot have Mass or the Sacraments;  the very person of Christ among us.  May every family in our parish with a son never fear God’s call.  Let us continue to pray that young men will offer  themselves to the Lord in his service. Please remember him in your prayers and everyone is welcome to attend.
